In a world where I'm misunderstood,
Misjudgments land where they never should,
But in my heart, I'll kindle a fire,
For self-love is my true desire.

Misinterpretations, they come and they go,
Through life's twists and turns, to and fro,
But in my soul, I'll plant a seed,
Of self-love, a remedy I heed.

When others stumble, their views askew,
I'll hold my ground, strong and true,
For within myself, I'll always find,
The love that eases my troubled mind.

So in this world, amidst the noise,
I'll stand tall, with self-love, my choice,
For in the face of misunderstanding's strife,
I'll cherish myself, throughout this life.
