BLESSED, O'LORD
Blessed is he who You found
Not he who boasts
Your favor lies limitless
And your mercies abound
You have made us fearless,
Within your paternal crest,
Among the unbelieving rest

Through the storm and fog
None we deserved
In our sins' catalogue
For neither we prepared
Even in our life's paradox
But there comes your grace
That fastens our pace,
Which blossom our place
And save our disgrace
Blessed,
Be who YOU find.

Blessed is he who You raise
Not who seeks to praise
You make all things beautiful
With our harvests bountiful
Beyond the mind's birth
You wipe our family's dirge
And clean our history's dirt
Up on mountain You put us
In you grows our trust
Under your throne we succumb
And unto your feet we have come
Blessed,
Be who YOU raise.

Blessed is he who You protect
From the womb's neglect
Not who now owns wealth
To future wiggle in regret
Be the doyen of our health
Vanity is our earthly treasure
Your spirit guards without measure
Under your warm stealth
We will find leisure
We have laid our thoughts bare
To be shielded in your favour
None but you greater
And under You we seek care
Blessed,
Be who YOU protect.
