THE PAT.
My head bowed in shame,
My heart scattered into pieces,
My shoulders heavy with the burden,
My fingers in the ground, groping for strength from the soil.

My poor heart bleeding from sadness
My body tremble from the fear of their eyes,
My unseeing eyes stinging and clouding with hot tears.

I could not bring the tears to stop,
I could not lift my eyes from the friendly ground.
It has always been like this.
Until when, I felt a gentle pat on my shoulder.

The pat stopped my crying,
The pat dried my tears away,
The pat wiped the tears dry,
The pat held my hands and helped me to my feet,
The pat dusted my clothes clean,
The pat put a smile on my lips.

The rest of the world, deserve a pat.
Share a pat on a burdened shoulder,
Put a smile on a straight face.
Don't forget to leave laughter behind.
