Let me try surviving another day.
I know it isn't going to be easy
I know it's going to be heavy
Surviving said was never simple
As there's less room for coups
But, I heard stories and myths
- the extraordinary outcomes
when survival is given hope.
Oh! I am learning the skills
As I try to balance a steady self
Appreciating this quest for hope
Wanting soon a breath of peace.
Let me attempt that "Vitality"
Even amidst the pile of doubt.
I realize I am doing my best
The minute I choose to survive.
