Mourning in the morning
You were the last to see me as I was;
In ignorant bliss.
Spread out, half naked across the bed,
Sucking on your spliff.
Not stopping once to memorise your face,
I couldn't imagine silence taking your place,
So I Memorised nothing,
I questioned nothing,
I believed in everything.
our energy did all the talking.

Some people want to call me naive,
But do not realise I left that with you,
in another world,
on that bed at half noon.
