time passed by and still
you are an apple to my eyes,
i mean it, my angel without disguise

i desired to leave the darkness
where i came from
and cut my growing horns
to build a bridge across the
boundary that we had

i walked through that bridge
with patience and diligence

though i am afraid and
thought that it will be risky
still i want you to be with me

until i reached your world,
i was few more steps towards you
—your eyes met mine,
and i smiled for at least
i saw an angel like you

and the bridge where i stood
was about to fall down,
i was about to close my eyes
and say a word of goodbye

but you yelled me to run to you
and you offered your hands to me
but the time run out and i failed
to hold on to you
and i fell into the cliff of failure
yet i won't regret the decision of
leaving the darkness just for you
