Difficult Motherhood
She wakes up on the other side
From the crib that her life should revolve
But feels like levitating towards the dark
Black hole in the vacuum away from the sun
Whenever the cute little bundle
Chuckles, giggles, pulls tantrums, pouts
That gravitates everyone's attention
But she repels away
Now she questions her humanity
Her ethics
Her motherhood
Her existence
Who can't abide by the laws of nature
That believes in maternal nurture
And finally being sucked into the black hole
Of repulsive feelings towards the world as a whole
this poem deals with postnatal depression that is being least discussed in the category of motherhood
