Life Is A Flame
I'm trying to understand the whole reason we're living,
Everyone I come across, they seem to be contemplating,
Life, for me is a story,
And what I write is a chapter of that story.
The pain of having to endure being called names is so unbearable,
That the bearer is all but ready to live on,
Most people live what one might call a dream,
And others arriving the exact opposite,
For it's better to be broken and peaceful,
Than to be happy and restless.
Come what may, life has its turns,
One that makes people feel its burns,
My purpose in life I'm yet to achieve,
This burning rage is starting to extinguish within.
Whatever happens from here onwards,
Believe in God and your future.
It is like I said before,
Life is a flame that burns,
Make wise choices in all your endeavors,
Else you be scalded by the flames,
and your purpose in life will be left undone.
