It's hard to drown out all the noise,
it rattles in my head, I struggle to find poise.
Grasping on ever so tight,
The solution to all my fright.
Humanity has tendencies to be inhumane to each,
pity instead of having empathy in our reach,
many with no remorse, never regret,
being kind shouldn't come with a debt.

Letting go of the fear,
being a voice not an echo, my dear.
Truth deserves a chance,
show love not hate, Let's dance.
Finding a new way to survive,
burn in the fire or rise above flames to thrive.
strive in the whitest of lights.
can't fall in the darkest of nights.
Don't lose my spark for what matters most.
This body is more than a simple host.
At times vision will be blurred,
Perseverance; a hefty key to push forward.
