This isn't in my prompts, it is more of an elective,
But I wanted to share something from my limited perspective,
Thoughts during therapy have me becoming introspective,
So I plan to spill the tea and hope it aids it the digestion.

The problem with men,
Oh where to even begin,
How bout the cardinal sin,
Of not holding feelings in?

What you mean that you cry?
That makes you a much weaker guy?
It must have all been a lie,
That he could pull stars from the sky.

When you're sharing emotions,
That honestly is too potent,
And if it does end up noticed,
Manhood is questioned in moments.

Vulnerabilities exposed,
You need a new change of clothes
Blue jeans and boots need to go,
High heels and skirts for you bro!

I guess I've got myself flustered,
And caused my anger to muster,
Go ahead and mistreat her buster,
Emotional guys are lackluster!

I'm gonna slow my rule a little now I've got that on blast,
I'm emotional and honest so that really chaps my ass.
I've made a lot of new discoveries while examining my past,
And that showing I'm vulnerable will find me something that will last.

It's easier for this trait to be used with malicious intent,
Especially when you've met a user, and regret the years you've spent,
Defending their actions, though there's clearly evidence,
That they acted like they need you, but their heart was not present.

Live.
Don't judge by the status quo.
Don't just settle for what you know.
Change can lead to better things if you can just let the past go.

Be happy.
Follow your heart with advice from your mind.
Find a person that's open and kind.
Don't look at it as the be all end all when your future's on the line.

Pay attention.
Don't mistake their kindness for weakness,
Embrace the times they show their sweetness,
Because when sailing through this life there's already plenty of bleakness.

If this got some people triggered,
That's not my plan but I figure,
That if it becomes discussion from what I've just rendered,

It may,
Have the opposite effect,
Of what I was trying to inject,
Into the minds of thoughtful people so take time to just reflect.
