would feel too comfortable in between my fingers
The chance to feel something different would be too tempting
I know my part to play
In this never ending 9 to 5
Even our guilty pleasures are never really ours to decide
no, cigarettes and wine would be like home
which is the very reason I mustn't touch them
caged animals, once free
rarely return to their masters
wandering wildly through the wood
till starvation anchors them back to the dirt
