You brought hope, peace, and shine.
Oh, the captivating eyes of yours
looked like a bottle of wine.

We talked, we walked, and spent time together.
And feelings have been etched in my life forever. 

For you, my darling, it was a friendly gesture.
For me, my darling, it was feelings with feathers.

Unsure if emotions were of love or infatuation.
But i always desired, you to be my way & my destination.

I tried, I cried, and to make you mine, I prayed.
To see you always, my eyes too craved.

As it was a matter only in my heart and brain.
So feelings unseen and a shattered heart were all I could gain.

All efforts, too, were in vain; life turned chaotic once again.
From then on, only I suffered from one-sided love pain.
