Broken words,
Broken thoughts,
Broken pieces,
Broken me.
I could build a bridge full of all the broken bits and glue them together with the words of hate and disgust you shamed me with throughout the years.
Yet I'm just shattered to bits and pieces now,
I'm truly not worth much, for my tears would weaken the glue, I'm sure.

Broken words,
Broken thoughts,
Broken to pieces,
Broken me.
I'm truly going to build this bridge.
I'm no longer going to be broken.
Your words will no longer break me.
