The day you gifted me, without worrying about yourself,
The day you selflessly put me first,
The day you cried when I was hurt,
The day you nursed me whole night just to look after me,
The day you hummed me to sleep without caring about anything else,
The day you corrected my mistakes and scolded me,
The day you taught me A,B,C,D,
The day you held my hand and never let it go,
The day you understood me when I didn't even show,
The day you became my pillar of strength,
The day you became my best friend,
The day you became a father,
The day you loved me more than any other,
Will always fill my heart with pride,
For I'm nothing without you by my side.
