A Day Without Flowers
'Where are my flowers?'
'Where are my buds?'
She screamed, 'I see none.
They were everywhere,
till then.'
Green leaves bowed down helplessly,
Suffocating her heart with memories.
'What will I offer him? 'she panicked.
Tender fingers searched in the greenery.
Frantic eyes saw colourful flowers,
Like a mirage in the desert.
Humble bees perished,
Beauty left the butterflies.
Straight she went to his abode,
And asked, 'Where are they?'
He replied, 'Its in you'.
