Been a topper all my life,
Shining grades, never failed type.
You teach me something,
I grasp it at the speed of light.

The grades come with a bright side,
Give me fame and a strong voice,
More opportunities, double chances,
Oodles of appreciation and a fan following.
The numbers save me from the wrath of teachers,
Help me get away with stuff sometimes.

But they have given me some hard time too,
Turning me into an overconfident fool....
