Remains...
I was just another sinner
Behind the orchard
Of good poets,
Economists, environmentalists,
Beings with accents
Who wore deep, purple shirts,
Consuming liquid honesty & courage
In bottles made of glass.
You found me
Before my head was swimming
In the ocean
I was building,
Where the tides
Ebb and flow
So swiftly, they create a haze
Over things so ordinary.
There was something
In the heart between us,
Unexplainable...
Like when blood sees blood
Of it's own,
It sings to see itself again.
My greatest fear in this,
Is that all you represent to me
Embodies a catalyst
At the end of my hurricane.
I only hope you stay
And see the rainbow
When the world ends.
Then, we'll spin out
Of the Madness,
Out of the shadows,
Finding answers in the fire's embers.
