I'm at a point where I can't take it anymore
my heart is broken , my emotions are bruised.
I had nothing but high hopes for our friendship
but look,
it ended before it even started.
I gave you all my trust but you threw it out the minute I walked through the door.
I gave you all my love, but my love most certainly wasn't enough to keep our friendship sailing.

A thick line that deprived me off the liberty I once had with you.
you found comfort in someone new
someone different, someone who was everything but not me.
I kept my distance not because I hate you, but because I realized I was being selfish when it comes to you.
I will forever cherish our friendship but I will rather walk alone than walk with you.
Because walking with you causes me so much pain.

in the end something did happen to the friendship we shared
it wasn't your fault, it wasn't mine either
but our friendship took the blame, so it faded away with time.
