I wish I can get back into time,
Change everything as per wishes of mine,

Be once again in my granny's arm,
As well as feel my mother's warmth,

Child inside me wants to run and shout,
But I cannot rip my family out,

They are always perfect outside,
But God, Can't we just be once inside?

Years ago, They were already on verge of fight,
But it was me who kept them tight,

Everyone was in each others heart,
But I knew they were soon going to rip apart ,

But now it's going to be us who will keep them joined,
All cousins working on this with a pride,

Why everytime this 'but' comes in between,
Maybe because I am keen,

Keen to have a perfect giant family,
With a happy family photo on Diwali,

This time it will be a real one,
With most beautiful smiles on everyone.
