(remembering a news article of a bombing )

'A childs war '

A child screaming out for their parents,

Not knowing where they are,

Not knowing if their parents are alive or ....

But trying to find happiness.

How , when the world is so cruel,

Can a person manage to see any light through this unfathomable darkness



Is it fate that delivered me here or could it be karma,

Many a wondering why this world , poverty in the plenty, isn't the eutopia we hoped for.

Are we at fault ? or is nature to blame?

Is nature , capable of bringing lightning and tornadoes , also capable of bringing hate , war and poverty?



The child sits upon the pile of rubble and mangled bodies, wondering , just wondering,

Could this be true?

This young girl , her pale face and round eyes...
