Decisions
Setting out on a warm summer day
Not ever thinking I would be in danger
Just looking to be one with nature
To the forest I made my way.
Take the path to the left or to the right
Decisions have never been my friend
But I chose the right to take to the end
Little did I know, my choice wasn't bright.
I set off to the right to find
Trees to sit under, plants to observe
This day of peacefulness, I deserve
When things take over my fragile mind.
I found a tree, a great big pine
Whispering softly, it called to me
Come have a seat, let your mind be free
This tree I decided was meant to be mine.
I sat so long I fell asleep
And dreamed of fairies...
