The past is the past

Looking back is an act of loss
Looking forward is the act of change

Cling not to the old ways for they are gone
But rejoice the new for it signifys hope

Be watchful of the world around you
Always learning fom others mistakes as well as your own

Knowledge of the elderly are as vast as the ocean
For they carry the mistakes and understanding of the past

Always be adaptable to change
For the past is the past and the present is the present.
