Lady Bird
I wrote this one time when I was reminiscing about my childhood days and wishing I could go back to being a kid with no miseries.

We caught those lady birds without being scared,
Took them home in matchboxes.
When our parents got time to see what we discovered,
They flew away,
And we'd search the whole house and also the side pavement,
of the way we walked home.
Till we fell asleep.

The next day brought something older and weird,
And then we grew up,
Not finding that same lady bugs as beautiful as we used to see.

'Cause we grew from falling on playgrounds
To be doing something we shouldn't do.
And those days are gone,
When we used to fall asleep on time,
But now all we do is cry all night till the morning rise.
