THE IMAGE OF GOD

In the image of God, I'm fearfully made
A creation divine, in His likeness displayed
With a heart full of love, and a soul that's pure
I seek His guidance, to always endure

In Genesis one, the story is told
Of how God created, the world to unfold
In His image, He made us, unique and grand
To walk in His ways, across the land

Psalm 139 speaks of His careful design
How He knit us together, every part divinely aligned
We are fearfully and wonderfully made
In His image, our purpose displayed

So let us remember, our Creator's plan
To reflect His love, to every woman and man
In the image of God, we find our worth
Held close in His hands, from the moment of birth
