All my life I had these crazy dreams.
I would be in the middle of the ocean on a boat.
I will hope that if I jump in I will float.
I'll be standing on the edge looking down at the water.
If I only could take a leap
But I don't.
My mind takes over and I just stand there still as aboard.
because I'm afraid of what God has in store.
Will he drown me?
Or will I swim to the top?
I ask these questions all the time.
In the dream, I never jump.
I never leap.
I never take a chance.
I fear I will fail in the end.
