The fragrance of my childhood,
Hides in the folds of your embrace,
The strength of my heart lies in your arms,
The virtues of my daily living springs from your wise words.

You held me in your arms, when i was weak,
You nursed my wounds when i was broken,
You fed me when i was hungry,
You became a friend, when i was left.

You would stare at the sky at night,
Silenty praying for my wellbeing,
I heard your tears in the bedroom,
Begging God to give me a better.

What more can i ask of the world?
You are enough Mama,
Without you i wouldn't be me,
Without, i would have faded long ago.

I love you more, Mama,
In my heart, you will forever be,
I will always cherish you,
Adore you more than anything
