the time we spent
were only to survive
boring times.

but I slowly look forward
to the deep talks
and silly exchanges.

that I began to imagine
a future of you and me
in a happy story.

even though I knew
that it was hopeless,
I allowed mysel to fall.

and that is the biggest mistake
I will rue until I learn
to accept what is real.
