Traveller
Monochromic world, all dark and cold
Introduces a setting filled with mold
Bodies of worms and humans pass through
Their existence, to him, is seemingly untrue

"Hey there, traveller, mind to help us a bit?"
They called out to him as he went to sit
Their pleading eyes took him in
Just like their bodies, as of tin

He drops his bags, eyes open wide
Reflex to terror, he tries to hide
The ground is shaky, wet, and jet black
While swallowing his bags, it starts to crack

"Crap…" he mumbles under his breath,
Expecting nothing but his own death
"What are you creatures?" he begins to ask
"We are doing nothing but our task"

Startling response, they meet his eyes
He hates this truth more than lies
"The blood-like moon, traveller, will lead you back;
Whether reverence's present, you'll follow its track.

"You thought your past was hidden, foolish mind,
Responsibilities to abandon, peace to find,
Travelling across land, mountain ranges and hills,
Avoiding consequences of your actions, dainty skills.

But now you'll pay, the Almighty wants you dead;
You will look into his eyes, gleaming red
Hey, traveller, you'll feel drawn and take his hand
Just like you ended up finding this moorland"

And the traveller, as if possessed,
Follows the moon and heads to the west
The ground drags his feet on its own
Arcane presence, regret never shown

He meets a worm-like creature, eyes of ice
Playing with people's lives like with dice
He wonders why they call him the Almighty One
As if on cue, there comes the scorching sun

"Oh dear, we cannot leave you here"
"Why, Almighty, wasn't I sincere?"
"You were, dear, and that's why you'll see
Hell grown by the likes of me!"

The voice of our traveller fills with hate,
Knowing he cannot run from his fate
Slowly, he laughs and he gives in
Accepting the payment for his sin
