The absense is felt by your lover as you leave your their side from a bed intended for two
To leave love's light at this hour of the night is a path only the forelorn have taken
To turn your back on those that care and not to share your heart with those that cherish you
Is taking the first step to walk into the uncharted to forsake one's emotions

It would best to take heed be aware where all your misgivings may lead the doubts have taken seed in the mind of your lover
You're about to turn their tears into their worst fears but it is your love that is in question
It is a fool's game that you are about to play
But the intent of your heart has shyed away so perhaps it is best you be on your way
One must question was this your intent from inception?

Though the hour is nigh take flight at this time of night allow your absense to be filled by another
They deserve better than lukewarm emotions you cannot fein your forlorn devotions
One who cannot commit can't take your amissed assumptions of love for it is you yourself that is broken
