I wept in the woods
As a child , I was innocent but wild
Always happy with many a friend
Even today as I ,my childhood recalled
I felt it was a life fully lived
Today when I am older
Every friend and family became anonymous faces
Depressed, Stressed and broken
Gone through life's churning grind
Fighting life's unnecessary burdens
A lone battle without anyone beside
Drove alone, and I wept in the woods
Letting my frustrations flow out
