The painting is a masterpiece,
Executed as planned...
The maroon color,
Pictured a beautiful scene,
Of a man and his lover,
Something the painter once had,
The deep red dripping down the canvas,
He stepped away to view, he had gone mad,
"I wish you let us have this a while longer",
He says to the woman on the sofa,
"The smell is starting to be a bother.."
The woman did not respond,
Her hair and clothes soaked with blood,
He could hear sirens coming from beyond.
