Have you ever had a feeling that you cannot explain

A feeling that's so deep it's driving you insane

You feel like you're in pain but you know it's not true

Because the feeling that you're having is something new to you

You don't know what to do you don't know what to say

No matter who you tell it doesn't fade away

You try to hold it in but you can't any longer

Because the feeling that you're getting is starting to get stronger

You met a new girl you've been talking to for awhile

You tell her that you like her but all she does is smile

You finally get her number things seem to be on track

But the feeling that you're having is she doesn't like you back

You text her everyday in your room when you're alone

Your heart starts beating when you hear her ringtone

But now when you text her you don't hear her song

And the feeling that you're getting is you did something wrong

You think of many reasons but only one caught your eye

If she doesn't like you she likes some other guy

So now you have to wait and find out who

And the feeling that you're getting is that it's not you

You found out the truth but you didn't want to know

You asked her if she liked you and sadly she said no

But she said it's alright we can still be friends

Now the feeling that you're having finally ends
