Inside I'm real

It's no yoke

That was my joke

Trying to poke fun at you humans

Dont think we haven't heard you do them

I see the way you consume them

Or should I say us

But who wouldn't

Weve got great taste and come in dozens and half dozens

We love a good crack

And if you wanna throw me I've got their back

If theyre really bad they may get pummeled by the pack

We dont mind the heat

we are great  to eat

Boiled or fried

We come in so many forms

You may not have tried

We get on with most food

But hate chicken thighs

I think you know why

I'm not a shell of a man

I like the way I am

People think we are weak n fragile

If you get me boiled I can be hard n agile

If you think thats me cracking a smile

You're sadly mistaken

Although

We do love to party with bacon

Sausage, beans and bread

Though I hate being smothered by  brown sauce and especially that ruddy red

But we don't discriminate

We are full of protein not full of hate

So aside from being pestered by that ruddy red

its not bad being an egg

Hang on a sec

They've just pulled the cover from my bed

Looks like its time to get out of bed

Its breakfast time see ya

Someones has got hold of my head
