Bleak Ray
Moving out into this planet,a bit by bit;

Observing the competition, and the question can I do it?

Living on the periphery, and thinking is this all merely a tom and Jerry;

Getting the chances one by one, and each time you fail,you feel am I done?

Growing older day by day,

But,with zero ability of getting the fake eggs that lay;

And maybe that is one of the reasons that we live in a bleak ray.

The thoughts of devils and the act of becoming a rebel,

To be born into a family that owns a car,

or to be living along-st the tar,

When one is at the dead end,

and the world says just append.

The age where everyone is one in a billion,

not knowing that he will fall prey to oblivion,

The era where the greedy pray,

and where we are going, maybe an age with a bleak ray.

When you feel your future sprinting, and the next second you feel like fainting,

When you see the houses lit, thinking that they are monetised and fit,

but then you realize that is what they own,

and are prone to the new age zone.

The planet where you see food getting deteriorated

and the poor strata being excused that they are fated.

And with the wealthy strata elated,

you find chores to be dated.

When we call ourselves educated

and think that it is our way

Probably that is the reason of this bleak ray.

Where the so called public servants have standards,

But apparently they forget to keep their words.

Where I hear noises of trespassing the fence,

But I see feminists in utter silence,

Where clicking the trigger is as intriguing as clicking a mouse,

And I see families being destroyed on the mere issue of a house.

Where I see honesty being erased and crimes being sharpened,

People screaming for the knots of crimes being fastened

I do not know why

I feel a piece of shame in me,

To this unhealthy planet,I find some blame in me,

Under these conditions and chances, I want to pray that,

No one exists in this world to write on a bleak ray.
