Harmony
If I die with all my dreams unfulfilled,
If I die with my heart laden with pain,
If people still complain for every reason as they had done when I was alive,
Will my soul grieve that I had taken birth on this earth?
I fear, in the world unknown, my soul will have to face the same trauma, the hatred, the agony.
If this be, then how long this suffering will continue, I wish to know.
Is it the price I have to pay for being different- gentle, kind, silent?
I want this web of pain to end for ever
so that I can rest in eternal peace, free from fear, pain and suffering
when I can feel loved and sleep in the warmth of harmony.
