When the world before me seemed to be new

All these years,
All these days,
All that we've have got to hear,
Is That only by doing some amount of things, happiness will find our way.
.
So I started doing, what according to the world would make me happy,
I was unaware,that all I would end up becoming was GREEDY.
.
I tried finding happiness in achieving success,
But I didn't know that with the habit of winning,I was getting obsessed.
.
But one day when I suddenly failed,
The world pettyed me and said that all my efforts went into vain.
.
But I wasn't really upset,
With negativity I wasn't supressed.
.
Want to why?.
.
Because,
I knew that I would come up,more stronger,more mightier, because of my hard times,
I knew, to be imperfect, isn't a crime.
.
But besides these things,I was happy within,
There was something so satisfying and calming within.
.
I realised I was happy from inside,
That is why,all I could look upon, everything's positive side.
.
When I didn't rely on the outer things or the materialistic ones for my happiness,
That's when I choose the path to merriness.
.
I was happy within,and that's all that I knew
That moment,
That very moment,
The world before me seemed to be new.
