I'm doing okay.
I'm distant,
I'm exhausted,
But I'm doing okay.

Days feel longer,
Nights feel colder,
But I'm doing okay.

Friends are no where to be found,
Life seems emptier without,
But I'm doing okay.

I'm distant but feel at peace,
I'm exhausted but feel achievement.

Days are longer but I often get more done.
Nights are colder but I'm warm due to my own fire.

Friends aren't around but I don't need then to see how far I've come.
Life at times does seem emptier but I look around and find what I've needed has always be there.

I'm doing okay.
