The World Cries.
The land is full of chaos with no one to run to,
The streets are busy with people moving on to their works for survival,
Survival of one's own soul.
Leaving the homeless and orphans dejected,
Creating no world for the weak and needy,
Leaving them to their own faith.
The world looks on without compassion.

One turns to the streets and sees thousands of children wretched and hungry,
Homeless, and have the streets as their beds.
And yet, we all look on unconcerned.
Orphans are left to fend for themselves,
Widows are deprived of their inheritance,
And the poor are rendered hopeless by corruption.
Laws are made but not for the weak,
Where then, is the compassion the world preaches so much about?

The poor are a tool of destruction in the hands of the rich,
The weak are means for the strong to prove their strength,
The Orphans are a medium for the wealthy to have people sing their praise.
The laws are there to protect but for a few.
Where is that genuine compassion and love the world preaches so much about?

Streetism have become the norm of today,
Social vices and violence have become the code of conduct in the world today.
The world has been thrown to a rage of survival of the fittest.
The weak are trampled upon,
The Orphans and widows are abused,
The needy are dejected and ignored,
And the physically challenged are mocked at.
Where then, is our love and compassion?
