Escape
Lost in the dark
we try to find ourselves
in unknown faces.
Sometimes we feel trapped
in this lifeless world
But when we try to escape
there's nowhere to go.
Sometimes it is suffocating
to always be surrounded-
by injustice, corruption,
and the materialistic world.
So this is my escape,
a quick remedy for reality
to find comfort in poetry
and exhale a breath of life.
