I am currently narrating some of my poetry on a different site!
I happened to notice some writers were not getting any reads or likes 😭 however their work was of a very high standard!

It takes time to build up a loyal following!
so please don't give up if you think that your work is not appreciated!

The fact that you have written a poem and had the courage to post it here already makes you a special person!

for anyone feeling the same I have written a short poem!




Chasing rainbows, chasing dreams!
Is not as easy as it seems!

Singing a song, writing a verse!
There will always be better, some a lot worse!

Getting it right, timing is key!
Made a hash of it? Just like me!

Give up, or start at the beginning?
Losing hope , I'm just not winning!

Back to being a reader, not a writer
Dont be a defeatist, you are a fighter!

Not a single like or read?
An ego boost is all we need!

In the cold light of day, never forget!
It took courage so lets not regret!

Your contribution, just remember is here for all time!
The pleasure in viewing it will certainty be mine!!
