I grew up in love,
yet held on to bitterness.

I was taught to love,
yet had moments
that I sought revenge.

I was called to love,
but fled,
because I was led
by the fears of the world.

I was let go and wandered off,
only to be taught the hard lessons of life
and return to God like a lost son,
and to learn about His endless love
and tender-mercies
by experiencing His grace,
through His beloved Son,
Who gave His life as ransom,
so I could live
a free, Spirit-filled life.

Therefore He truly is
my best teacher of
... and for life.
