Letting go, a journey so grand
Releasing the past, with an open hand
The weight of memories, no longer mine
Freedom awaits, like a sunrise divine
The chains of hurt, the shackles of pain
Broken and gone, like autumn rain
The heart, once heavy, now light as a feather
Free to soar, like a bird in warm weather
Letting go, a choice we must make
To release the burden, for our own sake
Embracing the present, with open arms
And welcoming the future, with a gentle charm
Like a leaf on a river, we float and drift
No longer clinging, to what's no longer rift
The current of life, carries us along
To new horizons, where love and joy belong
Letting go, a liberation so sweet
A new beginning, a fresh start to meet
The beauty of life, in all its grace
Unfolding before us, with a gentle embrace.
