Neurotic Nurse Narcotic - Dec. 2007
Could not save you from yourself,
so we bled in unison.
Our love felt more real than life itself,
so I paid for being your reason.
We were sorrowful sin.

Cutter queen,
could not censor me.
Cutter queen,
could not quiet me.

From best to worst I shared with thee.
You came to smile,
then later to slice with me.
When with you I was uncharacteristically free.
Whether it was in loving embrace,
or more often in the act of stabbing skin.

Cutter queen,
you dropped and drained with me.
Cutter queen,
could not calm me.

Our pain ran in many a red racing river.
This particular race though had absolutely no winner.
We played a very dangerous game indeed.
My once sweet,
now suffering sinner.

Dear cutter queen,
could you hear me scream silently?
Could you see me shake and shudder quietly?
Dear neurotic nurse narcotic,
I quaked and broke only for you.
Now the fissures blatantly show,
now I am utterly alone.
