If there is no God?
Am I free from an invisible
Tyrant's hand?
Who wants my obedience and worship.
That I may gain rewards I do not see?

If there is No God?
Am I free to do as I shall please?
To enjoy what pleasures my flesh may relish in?
No matter how animalistic they may be?
If there is No God
Do I not have a right to pursue what satisfies my thirst for greed?
To be as selfish and inconsiderate as I may be ?

If there is No God?
Do I really need to be concern what others think and feel?
In whatever I shall do?

If there is No God?
Why should the welfare of others be of my concern?
Are they not free to do as I have done?
Is it my fault they are not like me?

If there is No God?
Is not all that I want simply mine for the taking?
So what then is thievery, extortion and murder to me?
Are they not gifts to help me gain what I may enjoy?

If there is No God?
What is evil and wrong to me?
Are they not excuses others use to pity themselves?
When they cry themselves to sleep?

If there is No God?
Should the rules of morality and society truly be of my concern?
Are they not always changing as the wind blows from east to west?

If there is No God?
Why am I so desperately afraid of what others may do and take from me?

As I have done to them?

Because they too like me have No God to rule their life.

Oh I wish above the stars of heaven even though I do not believe !

That they who would do me harm at the joy of their expense.

Would truly believe there is a God who judges the universe as he judges the souls of men.

Because if they do not believe.
Oh how miserable I shall be !
