Old School ( I dedicate this poem to the generation of golden people )
When one generation is called 'old school
No doubt todays youth is smarter and we considered old fools.
You are high tech and way too modern
But we lived in an era that was really golden.
Lack of mobiles , ac's and other comforts
Never held us back from making efforts
To be happy , healthy and 'actual living '
We had peace of mind , were always forgiving.
We made strong bonds and gave respect ,
Enjoyed good health ,true happiness in every aspect.
You are smarter ,of course its good too
But your life is way too complicated with so much to do.
Aiming higher for position and success
Has become your necessity but also created a mess.
Eyes glued to mobiles and laptops
The days and nights of stress never seem to stop .
Relations have become so fragile
Love ,compatibility has gone out of style.
So yes we may be a generation of "Old School "
But we enjoyed a life super duper cool.
God bless this 'new school ' generation
May you create stronger bonds with no separation.
