colours to him
the war brewed inside me
but he could not feel
he could not see the kaleidoscope of red that burst within my walls
he couldn't understand why my cries were so hollow and yet they pierced every angle of him
a hate speech to him
so he sought it out
he went out into the world
roamed the deserts for wars and tribulations to make him feel what i felt all along
what I've felt ever since i was born
he searched for a pain that was birthed into me
just so he could understand
and in trying to understand
he caused the ruin of my walls
and the downfall of my endurance
in finding it all
he lost all he ever knew
he lost me
in a cocktail of the world's depravity
his yellow became a darker shade
he became maroon
as i fell away with my red.
