Oh, Daffodil,
Did you forget?
Whatever anyone is lacking
That's what the person will be seeking
And wherever the person finds it
That's where the person's interest will be

Daffodil,
Let your petals keep my interest
And your nectar too
Your stalk should be strong for me
And your roots my standing points

Should my interests dwindle and wane
I doubt I'll walk along your lane
Should my focus blur or fade
I believe my faith in you will see the blade
