Judged
I have been taken to be judged
All turn deaf oblivious to my cause
Am I this generations Stephen or Paul?
Why should I be punished for both passion and flaws
The society is my court
People stare, and speak like I am the sin against the world
Did not your religion teach you love?
Why then be hypocrites and act against your words?
So, we'll both be followers of your god
you teach me all about deeds and love
I am confused, do you out of love and tenderness jugde me and rid me of joy?
With your left hand, you bless me but your right hand holds a gun
You all have skeletons in your cupboards but you spit hatefully at my wrongs
what is right to you? What do you see as wrong?
Do you actually believe the things you say, or you're delighted to throw me at the worms?
Well, I cannot stop you from from showing your thoughts
But I will not be lessened by your descriptions and words
I will not plead against your blows
I agree I am guilty of the stories you have told
I agree you're blind and to you, my beauty is untold
You see only what you like to see, not the good in my works
Carry on, take me to be judged
Tell the court of my deeds and yours
Let's see where this would lead us
But true, the society hides it's loves
However it goes though, I have had enough
Take me to court, with your senses judge me and more
But I will no more let you touch my joy
Nothing you do will stop my sweet flow of thoughts
You do not yet have a clue as to what you want
Still you're audacious enough to judge?
Well, I am done
Do what you please, I will my thoughts uphold, live by and enjoy.
