Taking in the messy room,
I feel at ease. There's nothing
much I can do, but be silent in
the chaos left behind.

It's been a while since I felt
your absence.
I promised not to think of you again,
but the memories of us linger on,
more than I can handle.

Memories of us ... I think and
laugh sadly with tears rolling down
my cheek. There is no us anymore,
and even though, if I had a
chance to fix this, I would
not take it but rather burn it.

When did you even fall out of love?
