This poem is a short illustration of how I got victory over a particular addiction and I just want to use it to encourage anyone going through any form of addiction that you can also break free from it through God's help and your help.

Everyday it whispers in my ears
I try to say NO but I end up saying YES because it feels too powerful than I am.

I feel guilty after saying YES and then I promise to say NO tomorrow

Tomorrow is here and it comes again with the same whispering

One part of me screams NO while the other part screams YES

I have to pick on, it's either YES or NO

I tried saying NO but it's too powerful as I said before. I YES again and promise to say NO firmly tomorrow.

Another tomorrow is here. I already prepare my mind ahead of the whispering. "I will say NO this time around whether it likes it or not"

There comes the whispering.
"This is the time to let this know that I am powerful than it is. I must say NO".

I still feel confused despite I prepared ahead. it is just to show how powerful this whispering is.

Finally, I make up my mind and shout out to this whispering NO!

NO NO NO ..............

And then to the glory of God, the whispering becomes silent. What victory I have over this ant that seems like a giant.

ADDICTION ISN'T THE END . YOU DONT HAVE TO SETTLE FOR IT BECAUSE TRUST ME, YOU CAN BREAK FREE FROM IT IF YOU ASK GOD TO HELP YOU AS YOU HELP YOURSELF.
